The proposed Bullying and Harassment Code of Practice will require that it will be mandatory for all staff to be trained in Bullying and Harassment.

Bullying or even‘perceived’ Bullying is becoming a major workplace issue. It is the Employer’s responsibility to ensure that the workplace is free of any form of Bullying and Harassment.

It’s anticipated that from 1st January 2014 failure to provide a Bully free workplace culture may result in employees lodging a claim with the Fair Work Commission and compensation or penalties may result.
